Student mistakes: wrong poses

Four principles that characterize how depth is conveyed in linear perspective are the size of forms, the overlap of conditions, the placement of structures, and the convergence of lines. All four principles can and should be used together to interpret perspective best.

The main principle of perspective drawing: the length of the shape in perspective decreases, and the thickness remains the same. For example, the hand directed at us is shortened, but not thinned.
In practice, it’s impossible to transfer it immediately – the proportional templates that were created when drawing without diagonal reduction interfere.




Неправильно выбраны позы и ракурсы рук.
Главный принцип ракурсного рисования: длина формы в ракурсе уменьшается, а толщина остаётся прежней. Например, рука, направленная на нас, укорачивается, но не утоньшается.
На практике передать это получается не сразу — мешают пропорциональные шаблоны, которые наработались при рисовании без ракурсного сокращения.
